How to Host a Valentine Card Making Party
Decor
For Valentine’s Day you can never go wrong with hearts. I love my boxwood wreath and want to leave it up all year. the Be Mine banner worked perfect under it. I added a heart banner below it. We also included lots of balloons all around the room on the floor. They were such a big hit. The girls love just throwing them around the room.

Food and Drinks
Since we we hosted the party as an after school party we served apples and grapes for snacks. I served each girl one place of pink lemonade. We also had strawberry infused water in our cheers container. The girls loved being able to pour their own drinks.

Party Time
Depending on your guests age you may or may not need to help them. The girls are 4 so we just showed them where the supplies were and let them take it from there. It is so sweet to see what they create!

Favors
For the favors I recommend providing bags for your guests to easily take home all their cards. We had these adorable heart bags. Included inside was a special Valentine’s Day Card from Bailey. She got to pick the type of card she wanted to gift. No surprise she picked the lipstick Valentine’s Day Cards.

Have you hosted a Valentine’s Day party this year? Love to hear about it in the comments below.

Dessert
No party is complete without a little dessert. Paula of Party’s by Paula made me the most amazing heart macaroons for our party. They were the perfect special treats for the moms and the girls. We also had some conversation hearts because they are my favorite Valentine’s Day candy.

Table Setting
For the table setting you can keep it simple. Pick your color palette. I fell in love with these heart plates from Target. The pink, red and gold set the colors for the party. The silverware was a huge hit. The girls loved eating with extra sparkles. I also recommend using a charger at each place setting. We had the girls do their cards on the chargers just in case the girls colored off the page.
